Some couples have a kind of connection that just feels easy. That’s Kai and Simon. We spent the evening chasing that soft, slow kind of magic that only a Midwest summer can give – warm air, buzzing fields, and a love that honestly felt like it came straight out of a movie!

We pulled inspiration from the Hannah Montana movie – that dreamy, nostalgic feeling of youth and freedom! There’s a certain stillness to it, the kind that makes you want to take your shoes off, dance in the field, and just be TOTALLY and COMPLETELY in love!! And that’s exactly what they did. No posing, no pressure – just the two of them being themselves. Laughing, running, holding each other like no one else was around.

The way Simon looks at Kai? Yeah, it’ll make you TEAR UP!! And Kai’s laugh? Beautiful and contagious!! I was behind the camera, smiling the whole time, because moments like these are why I do what I do. Not for the perfect shot – but for the real ones.
