European-Inspired Wedding in Chattanooga Tennessee!!
One of the most memorable weddings I have ever shot was for Emmy and CJ on the outskirts of Chattanooga this past summer! They came to me with the idea of documenting not only their wedding day, but they dreamed of having images that looked like they were straight out of a movie made decades ago!! Nicholas Sparks films are some of my favorites to watch & I used his cinematography style to document their entire gallery!!
The entire day went perfectly & the Lord truly showed up for Emmy and CJ!! From their thoughtful details, the vintage architecture, and even Emmy’s dress, memories were attached to everything!! After learning more about these two, I learned that their family meant the world to them! So, Emmy made sure to include them as much as possible in her little details; she wore her grandma’s earrings, used parts of her mother’s wedding dress, and used an old piece of sheet music her grandpa would play for her when she was little. CJ grew up in Chattanooga, and so they decided it was perfect for celebrating their marriage in the place he called home!!
My favorite memory I have from capturing their day was when the sun came out between the clouds, and I told Emmy and CJ to imagine themselves on their first date – they were teenagers when they met – and to play around in the field behind them full of young love. Not only did the photos truly show who they were as a couple, but it was one of the best parts of their day!!
