Some weddings feel like they came straight out of a dream. This one? It absolutely was. Renzo and Chelsea brought all their people to the hills of Spain to celebrate at La Baronia, one of the most romantic wedding venues near Barcelona. The day was filled with sunshine, emotion, and style. I photographed everything on digital and Super 8 film (scroll to the end to watch their full movie) to fully tell the story of their day!

Details to Start the Wedding Morning & First Look at the Castle Terrace

We began the day with details – shoes, rings, paper goods, and textures that made everything feel so refined. Chelsea’s Jimmy Choo heels were styled to shine on their own. She got ready with rollers in her hair, a fan blowing gently nearby, and vintage glam written all over her vibe!

Before she slipped into her lace gown, I spent time with Renzo around the estate. He wore a white suit that felt classic and bold. Inside the castle walls, portraits of kings hung on the walls. It inspired me to capture Renzo with the same timeless, regal tone. And he owned every second of it.

Their first look took place on the main terrace overlooking the venue. The moment was sweet, calm, and full of anticipation. We captured those first glances and continued with portraits among the Tuscany-style trees, where the light came pouring through the leaves. It felt like we stepped into a painting. Their chemistry made every photo feel effortless!

A Courtyard Ceremony in the Hills

They chose to hold their ceremony in the courtyard, giving guests a view of the Spanish highlands and forest. Everyone wore black. It created the most stunning contrast against the stone and greenery. Their vows were intimate and personal. At the end, petals flew through the air as they walked out, married and glowing!

Cocktail Hour & Reception with a View of Barcelona

Cocktail hour had live music, champagne, and views of the Barcelona mountains in the distance. It felt relaxed, warm, and full of celebration. The kind of atmosphere you never want to end.

Dinner was served across four long tables, styled with white, green, and cream florals. Candelabras added just the right amount of drama. Chelsea and Renzo made their way through the tables to greet every guest. It felt personal. Intentional. A real reflection of who they are.

There were heartfelt speeches, some that had people laughing so hard they cried. Then we stepped away again for the bride and groom portraits as the sun dipped low. These portraits were about more than just the couple—they were about their love for this place. We focused on their connection, their stillness, and their joy!

Dances, Speeches, and Happiest Party to End the Night

Back inside, Chelsea shared a dance with her dad. Renzo followed with his mom. Then they performed a choreographed first dance that had the entire room cheering!

Afterward, they changed into party outfits. Lights dimmed, the music turned up, and it became a full-out dance party. The energy was wild and unforgettable.
